Art & Soul: The Culinary Arts-Bellflower Restaurant Opens In Ypsilanti In The Middle Of A Pandemic – WEMU

While many local restaurants are struggling to stay afloat during the current global health crisis, a new restaurant opened in Ypsilanti which has people lined up for food each day and selling out of a popular sandwich almost daily.  WEMU’s Lisa Barry talks with one of the co-owners of Bellflower Restaurant in Ypsilanti, Mark Maynard.

ABOUT BELLFLOWER RESTAURANT

Co-founded by Mark Maynard, Wurst Bar co-owner Jesse Kraynak, and chef Dan Klenotic, Bellflower opened on August 24, 2020 in a building that once housed Ypsilanti’s local exchange of the Michigan Bell Telephone Company.

They create meals that nourish— in every way.  They serve sandwiches that spark delight and dinners to linger over with friends and neighbors.

They strive to bring exceptional care and quality to everything we do.  Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, drinks on the patio, or a special dinner complete with an excellent bottle of wine, they’ve got you covered.
