About Far Cartouche - A Pleasure Blog
the Robot Vegetable at Cruising Altitude
I found the word farouche in
Sean Stewart's Perfect Circle.
It populated my mind with cadences of Coleridge and prompted a creative act. I uncovered the image of the wee clarion and thus began this blog.
Far Cartouche is an art blog. I post drawings, collages, some photos, some poetry and prose.
It is an extension of my drawing journal. I also talk about the pictures I post at my
one a day photoblog Middle-Fork. But not much, Middle-Fork
is pretty mute. I do link to the latest entry, for the benefit of a friend who doesn't wish to
gaze upon pictures of spiders.
UPDATE 24Dec2005: I have stopped linking to the latest post - I keep forgetting, and my friend doesn't seem to be looking in anymore.
I try to participate in some carnivals. I submit an post, most often from Middle-Fork, and then on
Far Cartouche I post links to the carnivals as they appear.
Middle-Fork has had Friday cat blogging since Friday One, and a few months later began
to join first the Friday Ark at Modulator and later the
Carnival of the Cats.
More recently I've been joining the delicious gang at eatstuff and
masak masak in celebrating the kitty dieties.
Even more recently, or maybe just more sporadically, I've had the pleasure of submiting posts to the
Circus of the Spineless and
I and the Bird
