Middle-Fork

I think I have the same kind of maple in my yard that you have photos of here. I'm trying to find out exactly what type of maple this is...any ideas? I can say the leaves & branch structure match yours, etc. Does your tree give surrounding grass a hard time? Does it thin the grass more than most trees? I understand certain maples have an extreeemly aggressive root system that strangle grass. By the way, you're photos are incredible. Any info you could get back to me with would be greatly appreciated!
