Brenda asks if this is on the road to Rickreal..

(and the time of year looks like when she'd be really allergic to the growies..)

It's just off of Peoria Road, a mile or so south of Peoria, in Linn County. It's one of my commute roads, and the Snag Boat Bottom Bend Unit of the William Finley NWR sits between the road and the river. In this photo: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=halsey+oregon&ll=44.421158,-123.213472&spn=0.048752,0.058451&t=k&hl=en
there is a brown line that runs down from the center of the top, and then makes a not quite right angle to the east. I was standing about where it first enters the white field, facing SE.
The hills in the background are the Coburg Hills.

Ooops! I meant to put that comment on this photo!
This is the one I adore!

It did seem like a bit of an odd photo to adore :)
(The previous owner picture)

This was one awe inspirig cloud, the picture only barely does it justice. It was huge, and slowly but surely got larger, and when the top edged into a higher strata with a breeze blowing, it spread all over the sky.

That was a Chemtrail Cloud that you watch pull itself apart

Hi dan - How can you tell? I had never heard the term before, and googled some pages. Although I don't doubt that there are secret climate warfare tests happening, I don't think that I've ever seen that needed more than hydrodynamics for explanation.
