It was truly amazing; this was at the summit of Skinner's Butte, which is the little bump downtown on the river, just inside the forest, with this bit of leaf sitting in a sunbeam, holding a pearl of water. It was last friday, it snowed that day, maybe a inch stuck around until midmorning. Maybe it had just melt? I don't recall it looking like there was any ice/sluch in it.

Nice. I had always wanted to take a picture like that, but for some reason I have never tried.

I "googled" [search term --->] ~drops of water~ to find a proper grief-image to send a beloved friend, who is incapacitated with psychic pain over the death of tighter-than-love soul pal. Tear drops and these pieces of water on chlorophyll surfaces and water-on-the-natch surfaces look like what prayers would say if they could leak from one's mind with perfection. Thank-you, photographer...

You are most welcome - I'm very happy my image can inspire such thoughts.

Hi this is a great photo. I found the photo using google, as I am looking for a photo to use for some branding for Eden Architecture (a Environmental Architectural Company), the company designs eco friendly houses like earth houses and straw houses. I have been asked to design a logo, web site, business card and water marks for them. I was wondering if I could use this photo for their logo, as it suits the theme perfectly and would save a lot of time trying to find or make a photo of this quality. Thanks for you time.

Hi, I was wondering who I would contact about using this photo in a presentation being made by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Who could I contact about getting permission to use this image?

Hi Samantha,
You're welcome to use the image - please include credit to 'the Robot Vegetable' and 'Middle-Fork.org'.

I would like to see how you use it. What kind of presentation is this?

Thanks

Thank you for granting permission to use this picture,
it is a Biodiversity presentation being presented to other MNR (Ministry of Natural Resources) staff. The biodiversity section here is fairly new and not many people know what biodiversity really is.
