Hello!
I have bumped into this site in search of a photo of a Madrone. These are incredible photos!!
I am a fledgling watercolorist and participate at www.wetcanvas.com in online projects. I needed a shot of a "bare" madrone branch to illustrate a silly (but fun) conversation about painting nude trees...so I posted a reference to this site.
But in all seriousness, I see many photos you have posted that would be incredible as sources for paintings. Would you ever allow me -- or another at the Watercolor Forum -- to use them for painting? Most of us are doing so just for our own learning. A few do exhibit and sell. We have a firm code about respecting artists work and copyrights, so your work would be absolutely respected.
Thank you for sharing these photos here -- absolutely wonderful.

Thanks very much! I really appreciate your comments, as I work more to achieve a composition that grabs you more than anything else. I'm very happy if you like some enough to make paintings. Honored, in fact. Please help yourself, and I'd love to see what people do, but that's not a requirement.
