Little Snake

Cool, one of the U.S.'s most variable snakes not to mention with such a small species range. That's one of my favorite snakes to find in the spring (pos. cause it's one of the first snakes out of hibernaculum), though if I get to find a Rubber Boa (C. bottae) that might take the cake. This is also one of the most common snakes within in the Northwestern OR & Western WA (in proper habitat of course). Fun find.
