I was driving south on Prairie Rd - I almost drove off the road when I saw this. I pulled off on Beacon and then off on a driveway, and caught this picture. It had already faded a bit.

Greetings: Knowing my interest in this ridge, someone pointed me toward this photo. Wonderful! Last August, as a columnist at The Register-Guard, I asked readers to help name that ridge in the Coburg Hill. More than 1,500 people voted to name it Hayworth Ridge and on Dec. 8 I am making a formal presentation to the Oregon Geographic Names Board.
