Bumblebee and Bluebells

Thank you, it was a fun shot. The Bluebell photos usually have horribly bright white highlights, but this time they were ok. The orange really does make the picture.
It was great watching the bee partially climb/crawl and partially fly around the flowers. Very patient little critter.

Hi it's Katie and I'm at school. We just finished The Secret Life of Bees and we are making a poster of it. I needed pictures of bees and so I remembered your website and how you might have some pictures of them....wow! I would definatly say you do! So just saying I will have a couple of your amazing bee pictures on my school project and proud to say that yeah...my uncle took these!!! :D

I think this one is my favorite, there are some in the Insects on Flowers archive, and as prey in Spiders. I happy if you can use them!
The bees are around, although it's chilly again today. We've had a cold spring so far.
