October Spiders and Insects
The weather turned and all the achingly obvious insects and spiders disappeared.
I did manage to catch a grass spider dining on Jiminy Cricket. I title it with “grasshopper” but I don’t think that
is correct. Then one day, and one day only, there were two Bold Jumping Spiders in the yard.
This one caught a little flower spider. The last photogenic encounter I had came out of the sky, it’s Sky King!, oops, I
mean that a syrphid fly (or mob thereof) visited our crocuses, and then the roses. This is my monthy offering to Circus of the Spineless which will pop up like magic in a couple days at SNAIL’S TALES.
Addensplatz Corollary to Karl’s Observation: History repeats itself - first as tragedy, second as farce, third as franchise.
Friday Ark #58 is providing relief from wondering where *I’ll* go to get *my* poodle trimmed, or something, hosted in the usual excellent fashion at Modulator.Weekend Cat Blogging (#21) is always delicious at eatstuff.
Carnival of the cats #84 now preening at Watermark.
