Road of Peas

Trestle Creek has some very nice falls, and these days some very nice trails that lead to them. I found them on a map, after walking by where Trestle flows into Bryce Creek numerous times. There was no trail. One day a friend and I decided to walk up the creekbed to the falls, but upon arriving, we found a brand new trail.

Years later, I paced the development of the trail to the upper falls, every other week going out and seeing how far it had gotten. They did a great job, and gave me the opportunity to take the shot above.

It is hotlinked at a mysterious place, blocked behind a privacy shield. Alas.
