Executive Chef Boris Jovanoski has been named director of culinary operations at Royal Park Hotel and Park 600 in Rochester.
Jovanoski joined Park 600 restaurant in 2006, and was promoted to executive chef and named chef de cuisine in 2019.
“I’m excited to step into this new role,” Jovanoski said in a press release from Royal Park Hotel. “I look forward to continuing to grow and expand the offerings for guests of the hotel and the restaurant, while engaging the community with fantastic food and beverage pairings and events.”
During his childhood, Jovanoski traveled across the United States and throughout Europe. He began working in the restaurant industry at his uncle’s steakhouse at the age of 14, and was managing a local steakhouse and brewery by the age of 18, according to the press release. He completed the culinary arts program at Macomb Community College and then went on to train under five master chefs through the culinary program at Schoolcraft College.
